Over 700m of rope lights were made up into amusing scenes that unfold to display the potential nightmare of a family Christmas. The scenes could change in a stop-motion fashion to suggest various movements.

CNC jigs were created to help fabricate steel frames to match the supplied drawings. Lights were then painstakingly attached and coloured. The whole set-up was controlled on location by a DMX board programmed by Paul Wilcox of the lighting department.
