The Escapist Movie

The Escapist is a dramatic film from Director Rupert Wyatt, starring Brian Cox, Joseph Fiennes and Damien Lewis. Machine Shop provided special effects and art department assistance for the London unit of the film.

Work included; a studio-based water tank shoot that simulated the characters almost drowning in a sewer, an intensive location-based rain shoot in a disused section of Charing Cross station, plus a stab-effect that causes actor Brian Cox to appear to be bleeding profusely from a wound, which is pivotal in the story.
