DVLA - Thunderbirds

For the DVLA Road Tax commercial a replica of the original Thunderbirds FAB1 car was created by Machine Shop. In addition to the car, fully-working, 1:1 scale characters of Lady Penelope, Parker and The Hood were also built, as well as a 1:100 scale street. The models won the category of 'Best model making of the year' in the BTAA Craft Awards 2001.
