Sky Ident

In July of 2008 Machine Shop supplied a beautiful 244mm tall, clear acrylic 'S' logo for use in an ident for sky. The perfectly polished object was machined from virtual data from a solid block of material over a period of two days and then filmed with water splashing over it at high speed. The final footage was then combined with digital models and effects with great results.
