Desc: When shooting with perishable food products, it is often advantageous to recreate the product as a more robust replica model to withstand shooting conditions. In the case of this commercial for a new Mars drink, Machine Shop created a chocolate liquid that resembled the final product yet was appropriate for studio use under hot lights. On set, the liquid was poured by Machine Shop technicians using specialist rigs to create the swirl effect as seen in the clip.
