High Speed Visualisation

Machine Shop has a great deal of experience in working on high speed digital shoots using the Phantom HD and Weisscam cameras to create glorious slow-motion footage of liquids and explosions. Because shooting at high speed is expensive we decided it would be advantageous for our clients to be able to gain insight into the way their high speed shot would look before going into the studio and spending money on costly rentals. The solution is our consumer level high-speed camera, which is capable of up to 1200fps at approximately VGA resolutions. We have used the camera a number of times to pre-visualise concepts for high speed shots allowing our clients to send QuickTime movies to their respective clients to boost confidence or iron out any queries before committing to the expense of the studio shoot.
