BME Pop Star Statue

The aim of the ‘Anatomy Of A Pop Star’ interactive is to introduce and explain the support structure required to facilitate and maintain a contemporary Pop Star. The anatomy of the physical statue, created by Machine Shop, acts as a visual metaphor, which links each anatomical element of the statue to the relevant individual or part of the music industry.

The Pop Star statue itself was created from a Plasticine sculpture and cast in hard resin before electronic components were added linking the statue into the interactive AV system. Machine Shop worked with digital specialists Clay Interactive and Sysco AV throughout the process to ensure a smooth installation and seamless integration of components.
