The Great North Museum: Hancock.

Following a succesful tender bid, Machine Shop developed an extensive range of interactive exhibits for a new development at the Great North Museum. The exciting exhibition celebrates over 500 million years of evolution, taking visitors on a journey through the story of our planet and its people.

In addition to a set of realistic animal models, Machine Shop produced 26 physical interactive exhibits including two electronic board games with logic programming to enhance game play and learning outcomes; three sets of ‘rotate to reveal’ lenticular image puzzles; a ‘build your own pot’ puzzle and also a bespoke MP3 player/sound store system which is now available as an ‘off-the-shelf’ solution from Machine Shop.
