Royal Observatory - Tellurian

After working on the Space and Time Tools Gallery for the Royal Observatory, Machine Shop were invited to build a large model tellurian for the education centre at the museum.

Similar to an Orrey, a tellurian is an instrument that depicts how day, night and the seasons are caused by the movement of the Earth on its axis and around the sun.
