Bridge Street School

Installed in September 2007, the ‘Sensory Garden’ in the brand-new Bridge Street School building features various interactive elements and furniture built by Machine Shop based on the physical senses theme.

Included in the installation were planters containing ‘sensory plants, a water feature with interactive seats, an interactive ‘Wobbly Bridge and a ‘Sensory Tunnel’ with intelligent lighting. All the exhibits were designed and engineered to stimulate and engage disabled children, many of whom are confined to wheelchairs.
